It's not - IT'S BETTER. It doesn't weigh enough to tire my wrists, the steam can be set for continuous or on demand, the cord is generously long. Steams lasts long enough for me to clean a room before recharging with water & I've been using my Haan steamer for over a month. Once I learn about all the attachments (which come with their own bag for storage!) I'm all set. I don't miss having to use all those types of cleaners either. I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED. Finally, Finally Found A Product That Cleans My Blinds By D. Leonard I've been searching for years for a product that will clean the window blinds in my home. This is the answer to my prayers. I put the steam nozzle close enough to just dampen the blinds and then used a rag to wipe the dust off. (I'm ashamed to admit this) but I had years of dust accumulated and it cleaned it in a matter of seconds. I'm looking forward to using it to clean my trash can, sinks and elsewhere in my home.
