Has been sitting around for month now due to not finding the pads. I did try and put towels on it. Just a Waste of time and money for me. All were great at cleaning and saving time. The expensive items fail when forced to use hard water particular to Nevada. This cleaner so far has lasted me as long as the expensive ones and shows no sign of 'water-failure'!If you use it often and keep the water refreshed it should not suffer too much of a downgrade. I wish there were more replacement parts available to buy. Also the temperature limit switch went out but I am having a very hard time, impossible, finding a replacement temperature limit switch.
