This powerful home steam vacuum saves you the expense and hassle of having to rent a steam cleaner to keep rugs, upholstery, and bare floors (other than hardwoods) looking like new. The powerful 12-amp motor combined with five spinning brushes that operate at either high or low speed lift the dirt and grime out of carpets. By pulling on the trigger in the comfortable upright handle, this deep cleaner releases the included carpet/upholstery cleaner and hot tap water. For more stubborn stains or for high-traffic areas, this SteamVac also has a Clean Surge feature, which sends an extra blast of cleaning solution into the stain by simply pressing a button on the handle. When cleaning is complete, release the trigger and the SteamVac forces hot air into the cleaning path so you can do a few dry strokes over the stain. This deep cleaner has two separate water tanks to keep clean water apart from dirty water. The top tank holds the detergent and one gallon of hot water and automatically mixes the two so you don’t need to get your hands wet. The lower tank holds the dirty solution picked up from the carpet and unlatches to easily pour out into a sink without spilling. For cleaning stairs or upholstery, this deep cleaner has a long 8-foot hose and a special stair/upholstery nozzle to scrub out spots. Other features of this deep cleaner include a brush indicator, which informs you that the brushes are spinning; an on/off foot pedal; a handle release pedal; and a 27-inch wraparound cord. The Hoover SteamVac is covered by a full one-year warranty. I'm just as many people write that their machine is leaking from day one amazed, and they returned. It will end when you have a critical role to jump to stage design. Paid $ 170 at Best Buy. This is my first carpet cleaner so I had nothing to to compare it to my own expectations except his. Even if the name is SteamVac, like all others in this class of cleaning agents, there are no steam. It is only the marketing wrong, but all manufacturers to do so, especially not on Hoover made. Let me first say that I am ashamed to admit that our carpet was not cleaned in 4 years I, and we live in a country where a lot of dirt tracked from outside. The carpet was dirty fucking. The Hoover F5914-900 has a very nice job for the first time I used it - a dramatic difference in the appearance of the carpet. The water in the container of dirty water was black, the carpet will go back to new condition? No, impossible. It took another treatment or two to really clean it? Yes, that's the price I paid for ignoring wet carpet cleaning for years. One of the best features of this vacuum is the ability to completely dry the carpet. From the front of the machine is made of transparent plastic, you can see when you are cleaning the water. Do you want the carpet to dry as much as possible, maintain the vacuum until you no longer see water being raised. As time passed, the SteamVac has done an excellent job of keeping my carpets. My only complaint is that the dirty water tank fills very quickly and a little bigger. Ideally, the bucket of dirty water "must" in his own right if you do not have clean water. Then you hang up, empty the dirty water, fill the clean water and return to work. But this process is out-of-sync with the dirty water to fill the tank before you run with clean water, so there may be a little tricky, but not a show-stopper. The machine is well built, but it is plastic, with lots of pockets and bolts and hose holders, etc, so you have to be equally cautious, or things will break, no doubt. A few other comments: 1 If you are not the type to read manuals are, have you read this. Installation and operation is simple, if you sit down and read the manual before use. It's not like a vacuum cleaner where you just plug in and go. 2nd My machine leaked badly, but it was my own fault. It is a one-time setup procedure only if you pull the trigger and press Clean Surge button to set a pole. Press the button solid Clean Surge. It can be a high snap, it sounds like you broke something, but you did not. Until then, complement, increased cleaning (additional releases clean water solution) at all times, because the leak was not pressing hard enough in the beginning, so I had the problem of leakage. December 2007 EDITION Apparently many people assume that without a sharp crack, the increase will not work clean. All that matters is that the machine does not leak. If your SteamVac not leaking, it is well equipped and Clean Surge work! The only reason I emphasized the "pressure" was because many people have problems with leaks, which are easily solved. And maybe that Hoover has been redesigned to ensure the return of so many people who do not read the instruction manual. So do not get hung up on the snap. If your machine is running away after the meeting, know what to do. 3rd Every time there seems no hope, the problem is that something has not been established. It 'easy to break the dirty water tank lid, do not align properly, causing a vacuum leak if there is a loss of vacuum, no suction on the bottom of the machine, where it is necessary to draw water from the carpet. You will also see that the brushes are not rotating like.
