Previously I used the Bissell 9400 ProHeat 2X Select Carpet Cleaner to clean stains deep vertical inevitable with cats and children potty training right from my Berber carpet. A friend who has a cleaner, so I borrowed it on several times before finally deciding to have one of mine. Just before I was ready to purchase, Good Housekeeping ran a review on the Hoover SteamVac so I searched on Amazon. I've read reviews and decided to take my chances with it. I am amazed at the difference between the two machines. The Bissell used to cut out the fibers from the carpet and leave a trail of what looks like bad hair balls back as I worked. The pools are clean and dirty in the same device that is intelligent, but almost impossible to clean. Hoover has two tanks - one for clean warm water with a room for cleaning solution and keep the dirty water for both water tanks contain gallon. I had no problems loading the clean tank or removing the dirty tank. Not a drop of dirty water, no puddles on the carpet or kitchen floor when you switch tanks. Like I said, I cleaned my whole house several times with the Bissell machine, but I was almost at the muddy water that came out amazed carpet. It was as if I had never cleaned the floor above. The dirty tank is easy to wash and put back. The trick is to "reject" the machine to clean the tank set to the bottom to be put under control. Loosen clip and dirty tank is equal to a problem. Clean it out, leave the lid on and fasten back in place and then you can get the handle back and clean the tank. The suction on this machine is amazing. It took hours and hours for the carpet to dry, if I have the Bissell would have the fans on the top side and let it go at night to use the carpets dry in the morning. Two hours after cleaning the carpet (two cleaning / flushing runs over a passage of rinse-only) and the ground was almost dry. I tested the Hoover tiles on my kitchen. I hate tile. I will never be another house, but I am now firmly with him. I usually give Steam Clean II steam / pressure washer on the floor, but decided to Hoover to try, because it came with a cleaning solution for the job. I would not use it every time when I use the kitchen floor, but come for a quick cleaning before company, it will do. Again, I've had no problems puddle. When the shutter button just before you finish your race does not exempt you do not pull the puddles. The Hoover does a great job sucking the water on the floor and still is water mortar. Not do a good job at the mill, because it is not what it is for me to stick to my Vapor Clean and special brush I have. I am also pleased with the amount used by the vacuum cleaner. The Bissell goes through the cleaning solution at a much faster pace than the vacuum cleaner does. I want the soap back then the fibers will simply floor dirty faster. The only thing I hate: The cleaning liquid dispenser is integrated with the clean water tank. I wish it came with a beep or something to pour out remaining solution was not so messy. I know I could give a solution is between uses, but I already pouring the solution remaining carpet switch to the hard surface cleaner - I had to hard surface cleaner back into the bottle to switch back to more mat work. Some form of retractable spout or a reversible connector with an attached outlet would be great. The hose is fairly thin batter. I had the whole hose a few times, whilst I was changing tanks is not a big deal, but it is annoying to the point I am thinking of taking that part out and store it separately.

Two months ago we got two new puppies, and a new dog house (none of which were clean), in addition to our other three dogs (one a senior and incontinent). We live in an area with coyotes and mountain lions and we can not leave our dogs at night. Of course our new carpet took a huge, devastating hit while we all adjusted to our new life together. On top of all this, we live in a rural mountain community and the amount of dust and dirt and mud that the bladder and / or can be traced in is amazing, how careful we try to be. I thought a few rooms with carpets can not be saved. So my mother's day gift to myself was Hoover SteamVac F7412-900 Dual V Carpet Cleaner Hoover wide path Pet Formula detergent. OMG My carpet looks and smells brand new stains and smells exactly as I thought could be the curtain finally all came out. I'm really shocked. I was not expecting such great results. I love the smell of pure light Pet Formula ... is not overwhelming in any way (and I used a lot). Hoover SteamVac and Hoover Pet Formula Detergent saved our carpet. With regard to the same SteamVac, I find super easy to fill the tank with clean water and empty the dirty water tank. It is a heavy car, so I'm glad he did not grow in the tanks, as it would be too heavy for me to handle. The way it is now is perfect ... I'm going to use it frequently for maintenance of carpets. I know it sounds like an infomercial for Hoover cheese now, but I can not help it. My husband and I are excited to be there! * Several months later ... Great works of Keith Ogata saw the product in a store, then saw a lower price than Amazon (and no tax or shipping), so I said what the heck, try it. I have a medium tan carpet and two dogs and two cats. Cleanup was easy to assemble. All you need is a screwdriver. I'm not quick to cleaning the carpet, but once the hang of it, it was easy to use and really works! One of the most attractive features is the deposit of bulky waste. Allows you to set the cover before stopping to empty the vacuum sucks the real solution of water / carpet cleaning, carpet dries very quickly. By Jamie Alongi Steamer I owned one month ago, before the steam from the one I used was a 15 years old Bissell. I did it three times, and I must say, I love this thing! He has a great job on my carpet the movement of 5-year high. I had no place or anything, but he really does walk the carpet again, and it made a noticeable difference. This steam is super easy to use, both tanks can be easily and quickly removed without fuss. The rotating brushes doll easy to clean. Removing hair or what not to the tank is also very easy to remove. I highly recommend to anyone, especially for the price, except for the addition of water, which is almost as easy to use as a regular vacuum.

We have some problems with pets urinating on the carpet and I wanted to get the smell out. Overall this is a good product. It made my house smell fresh. It was amazing how dirty the water was, I did not know how dirty the carpet had been. I'm sure there are more heavy machines in the market, but for my budget and problems, it worked well for me. The cleaners are not cheap, but such a small amount is used, will last for a long time. I thought it might be easier to list the advantages and disadvantages of separate ... CONS: * To achieve our tiles as clean as possible, it seems that I have to move the car very slowly during washing and vaccuming wet. I have a lot of ceramic tile in my house, so it's a big job. When you have the patience and time (which is not often with two children running), the slowness is definitely my floors spotless. In most cases, however, I do not have that luxury. In fact, there are many times when I have to resort back to my Swiffer broom just to go ahead with the cleaning so you can move on to other activities. * The small filter / screen in the dirty water tank seems to stop earlier than expected. When it is clogged, the vacuum feature does not work as well. Once you are clear of obstructions, however, it works * great little Unclogging the filter / screen is a very unpleasant job. I wish there was "hands on" way to get less junk out of it, how it can be pretty nasty sometimes. PROS: * It seems to clean our ceramic well and is a lot of things that he misses the mop. With two little ones who like to put on the floor and slide the tiles as clean as possible is a good thing. * To me, it's much easier to push around a mop. The cleaning solution smells pretty good too. * It is very good at absorbing trash along baseboards and in corners. There seems to be a strong suction power, so often used to "scan" instead of using the broom. It becomes a much more dry land, without turning all the way in which a broom is not. * It is very useful for cleaning small spills and moisture and begins to dry variety. In reality it was a wonderful help when our dishwasher crowded and has a very easy cleanup * It's really nice to be able to let the soil dry quite well when I'm done. Instead of waiting for a long time, I can just be straight back on furniture and rugs on the tile as soon as I finished drying. Ultimately, I would recommend this to those who suggest that have a very clean floor for a decent price. But if speed is the main concern, then this is probably not the ideal product as a good, deep cleaning takes time - especially for those with lots of hard floors. I tend to alternate between this unit and my Swiffer mop, depending on how much time and energy I have. I would like something that could take as thorough cleaning, but in much less time. In the meantime, I am satisfied with this product - it does the job. *** UPDATE - June 2010 *** OK , We have this machine for a while now and have noticed two things I feel I have to my review, a) adding after a while, the unit will not suck up water as well and sometimes not suck it up on all other days , I had almost finished a lot of scrubbing tile before I realized the dirty water dish was empty - the machine did not suck it. We found that the landing gear seems to be manually cleaned / when this problem occurs. The hair, dirt, etc. tend to accumulate down there and the "wet pick-up" function to commit. My husband put the machine on its side and use a screwdriver to dig out the trash. is very annoying, so I'm glad that he is willing to do (I'm certainly not!). 2) In addition, last year, the solution tank with clean water / clean had sprung a leak ... A LOT. He has always had a few small drops of the back as they fill, but the leak is almost a flood. I have to keep your finger over the hole in the back and try to return to the machine quickly before the liquid on the floor My husband thinks that the rubber seal may be broken or weakened over time. I contacted Hoover.

After much research on floor cleaners, I decided to buy a shark steam mop from Costco. I chose this mainly for the cheaper price and the great return service at Costco. (I kept the box.) After using it twice, I was happy enough, but then I saw two in one ad. Reading reviews online I was torn. I decided to take a chance and ordered the joke by Kohl's with a 30% coupon. I got two in one for the same price as the regular steam mop and I'm very happy! I have children, pets and live in the country. We get a lot of sand tracked in vac and suck it right up! My big wool area rug is much fuzz and again ... VAC will be well. The "snack" crumbs left by the children is no match for the VAC. I do not know why other critics say the vacuum suction does not work? If you know the board, then you know that is not uniform and has a natural variation in height, other cleaning products I tried did not work (like the Hoover floor mate) The Shark Steam Mop Vac then it worked! Each piece was placed out of the rubble of the plant, even in low spots and lines of mortar. Due to the uneven nature of the advice, sometimes I had to push a little harder to enter the "hits", but by no means is this "execution" as someone else. I even recommend to my family who suffer from arthritis, it is easy to use. The move took the steam to heat 30 seconds and then gave him a strong resistance to steam cleaning, which was about half the water that remains in the container after cleaning. (He did not go out and do not feel I should be higher.) I felt like cleaning the floor and do not want to add anything to water, chemicals and prevent odors additional allergies. However, it works for me and is clearly the best option out there. This will not replace any other type of floor cleaning. It is not perfect and complete a thorough cleaning of your floor. It is ideal for quick, easy daily cleaning. The sale of your soil, the harder it is to grow. It can also be difficult to slide on the linoleum. It was not so difficult to be a deal breaker. I'm not in the range of upper body strength gifted, and if it is not easy to not slide on the linoleum, I was not wrapped in any way to use tired or painful, even after cleaning the house. The steam will come and go in spurts. Of different opinions, it seems that may depend on getting this to happen on the device. My incredibly powerful steam supply for a while ', then need a "pause" to "recharge" And' successful enough to be annoying and affect the speed with which I could clean the floor, but for me the overall comfort of the machine is the 'inconvenience. (It also helps if you care to hold the handle down as far as possible, in contrast to the right, since this is what triggers the steam). It 'good that you do not take any kind of trigger to activate the steam. The nozzle gap is actually a few inches long and is located near the back of the machine. Not ideal, but it makes sense with the way in which it is intended. This does not affect the intake, I found it very good. It 'taken away everything in its path. (It will not, however, collecting debris, large / heavy. How small rocks.) What is the effect of the machine is the ability to collect items along the edges and corners. This is why it is not ideal for deep cleansing and not replace all the floor cleaners.

After getting the quick guide, I open a store in the bathroom and are designed to clean any surface. It took about 15-20 minutes with a full tank (48 ounces) ready for use. I kept the bathroom door closed and locked, because I was worried about the kids and dogs are curious and hurt. I understand why it takes so long to start, but I was afraid that one of my little ones get to it. The Hann came very quickly, packaged in the original box. It was very well packed in a box that extra transport was unnecessary. The item description does not tell what's in the box. Mine came with a vacuum cleaner (love the red!), 2 microfiber pads, slide the carpet, floor pad at rest (not a drawer, as specified in the descriptions for the other colors Haan SI-25) and 12 packs fresh lime and Scale Remover Wash (a source of one year). I opened the box this morning and put together Haan - very simple and very light, even with a full tank of water! In total it took me 1.5 tanks with water for my kitchen, dining room, bathroom, bedroom, hall and wash the front door. They say a tank takes ~ 20 minutes - I think it took longer. As specified address, there was a clicking sound after turning Haan for the first time - that was the movement of water in the pump This sound quickly stopped, and the maid was as quiet as a church mouse during use. I found the cleaner very easy to push our wooden floors and bathroom tiles. Even placed between the toilet and the wall! Major plus) between the toilet and bathroom wall was certainly appropriate to use my cats and 4 children (1.5 to 2.5 5 years) - Mat was easy to attach, remove, wash and hang to dry - low profile I could under the cabinets and the front of the fridge (and anywhere else I wanted) to clean Cons: - Personally, I would like the tank a little more - I had to disconnect and reconnect the power cord from the 3-times for all the areas that I met - The paved floor is a bit bigger than the head of the vacuum cleaner, which means that the steam and cleaning agent really is not to help the edge of the wafer. Am I crazy for disgruntled RedLetterYear Ok, so I bought this product today (from the target and not on Amazon.com) and I want to start by saying, unquestionably, great. I hesitated to buy this product because last year I made a huge mistake buying Bissell It Back (electronic vacuum broom and mop). Before starting my review on this product, let me start with the Bissell equivalent. I bought the product because I'm 26 years old and lives in New Orleans French Quarter. I wish I had friends of all time, and had followed in the district over the dirt hardwood. I bought the Bissell, because it seemed logical. It 'a blank e-broom on one side, then turn the handle on the opposite side and turns into a wet sump. It 'came with two detachable mop has a non-removal brush and a microfiber pad small. Bissell product was terrible. It weighed about 20 pounds (much heavier than the product) and vacuum does not pick up anything, even the smallest dust or dirt that will blow away the dust before the device could reach it. I'm just as many people write that their machine is leaking from day one amazed, and they returned. It will end when you have a critical role to jump to stage design. Paid $ 170 at Best Buy. This is my first carpet cleaner so I had nothing to to compare it to my own expectations except his. Even if the name is SteamVac, like all others in this class of cleaning agents, there are no steam. It is only the marketing wrong, but all manufacturers to do so, especially not on Hoover made. Let me first say that I am ashamed to admit that our carpet was not cleaned in 4 years I, and we live in a country where a lot of dirt tracked from outside. The carpet was dirty fucking. The Hoover F5914-900 has a very nice job for the first time I used it - a dramatic difference in the appearance of the carpet. The water in the container of dirty water was black, the carpet will go back to new condition? No, impossible. It took another treatment or two to really clean it? Yes, that's the price I paid for ignoring wet carpet cleaning for years. One of the best features of this vacuum is the ability to completely dry the carpet.
