It is heaver than I thought it would be, but it doesn't let the dust bunnies fly around as much as my regular broom. The vacuum part of this broom is wonderful; I don't have to go looking for the dust pan. It has helped with getting the kids to do some of the sweeping. The only thing I don't like about this item is the dirt holding compartment is small and must be emptied a lot. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Total waste By Kili Great idea, lousy reality. Suction is lousy and you have to angle it so very specifically to get even that, that it's basically a broom and useless as anything more.
